My thesis research in the Environmental Humanities, Mad Mud and Strange Survival, explored wetland ecological structures as design instructions for climate adaptive design, drawing from traditions of Critical Design Practice, Mad Studies, and Biophilic Design. My primary field sites were Montana’s Centennial Valley and the areas surrounding Great Salt Lake.
